1. An airplane graveyard in Tucson, Arizona

This air base, located in the Mojave Desert, is the largest in the world at 2,600 hectares. It is the largest aircraft graveyard in the world, with more than 4,000 aircraft retired from active duty by the U.S. armed forces.
