In Windows 10, you could dictate but it does not feature punctuation. However, in Windows 11 dictation functionality comes with auto punctuation. Press the Windows key + H to open the dictation menu at the bottom of the screen of the feature or app you’re using.

If you click on the Settings Gear icon on the left hand side it will lead you to the window below.
From here you will access all the various settings and the new feature Auto punctuation. Turn On the switch next to the Auto punctuation on the right side to enable the functionality. Once you highlight the text field of the app or platform you want to use and then tap the microphone icon on the dictation menu, it will start typing whatever you’re saying.
