We are already entering the month of July, an intense thirty in terms of presentations, since, to counteract the effect of Samsung’s second Galaxy Unpacked to be held in Paris on July 10, Xiaomi plans to launch three new smartphones on the market, two of which arrive to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6.
Thus, according to several leaks, the Chinese giant is going to present three new terminals in July: two of them will be exclusive to China, the Redmi K70 Ultra and Xiaomi MIX Fold 4, while the third, the Xiaomi MIX Flip, will also reach the global market. Below, we tell you everything we know today about these three new mobiles from the Chinese brand whose launch is imminent.
Redmi K70 Ultra
The first of the smartphones that Xiaomi should announce this July is the Redmi K70 Ultra, a terminal that would arrive in Europe as the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
This new affordable high-end from the Chinese brand will feature an AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a variable refresh rate of up to 144 hertz, with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor that promises to outperform the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with a huge 5,500 mAh battery with 120W ultra-fast charging and with a photographic system where the main protagonist will be a new 50 MP main sensor, whose exact model has not yet been revealed.
Likewise, the Xiaomi 14T Pro, the global variant of this Redmi K70 Ultra, is expected to arrive with a camera system signed by Leica.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 4
The Haidian-based company is also going to present this month a new book-type foldable, a Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 that, most likely, will not be marketed outside China and will be the thinnest foldable on the market within its segment, according to the Chinese brand itself.
In terms of its specifications, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 is expected to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and to bet on a quadruple rear camera module that will be composed of a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 60 MP telephoto sensor with a 2x optical zoom and a 10 MP telephoto sensor with a zoom 5x optical.
Xiaomi MIX Flip
The only one of Xiaomi’s three new smartphones that we know will hit the global market is its first clamshell foldable, a Xiaomi MIX Flip that will have a slimmer and sleeker design than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and will feature a large outer screen surrounding its rear cameras.
As far as its technical characteristics are concerned, everything seems to indicate that the Xiaomi MIX Flip will also mount the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and that it will bet on a triple rear camera module where the main protagonist will be a 50-megapixel main sensor with a size of 1/1.55 inch and OIS. This main camera will be supported by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10 MP periscope-type telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom.
In addition, this new Xiaomi MIX Flip will also have a fast charging system, two-way satellite connectivity for emergency communications and water resistance.
