As the leaker Kurakasis recently commented on the forum of the Exputer media, Final Fantasy XIV Mobile would be in development currently and this project would be carried out by both Square Enix and Tencent, since both companies signed an agreement in 2018 with the intention of forming a strategic alliance with which to develop new triple-A licenses and new games based on existing franchises.
