There is less than a month and a half to go until the second Galaxy Unpacked of the year is held in Paris, an event in which, in addition to the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 and the new Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch X, the first smart ring of the Korean firm, the Samsung Galaxy Ring, will also be officially launched.

Over the last few months we have been learning some details of the Samsung Galaxy Ring such as its design, its price or its different sizes and now, a recent leak has just revealed that the larger rings will have larger capacity batteries.

Bigger batteries for larger Samsung Galaxy Rings

As confirmed by MySmartPrice, the Samsung Galaxy Ring has recently received certification from the FCC, which reveals that the battery capacity of this smart ring will depend on the size of it.

Although it had initially been leaked that the Galaxy Ring was going to arrive in 8 different sizes, finally the first smart ring of the Korean brand will be available in 9 sizes: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. In this regard, Samsung has confirmed that it will send buyers a size kit so that they can test which size suits their finger best before ordering the Galaxy Ring.

Thus, according to this leak, the Galaxy Ring with sizes between 5 and 7 will mount a 17 mAh battery and in the rings with sizes 8 to 11 this will increase its capacity to 18.5 mAh. Although the battery capacity of the larger Galaxy Ring, at size 13, is not listed by the FCC, everything seems to indicate that it will be equipped with the same battery as the No. 12 size ring which is 22.5 mAh.

Regarding the battery life of the Samsung Galaxy Ring, previously the president of Samsung Mobile, TM Roh, already revealed that its first smart ring could last up to 9 days on a single charge, so we expect that the larger models will be able to reach this figure.
