Not even a week after Google released the Android update in June 2024, Samsung has already begun to update the best handsets in its catalog, both the most current and those that have been on the market for a few years, with the most recent Android security patch, the one corresponding to the current month.
Specifically, Samsung has currently deployed the latest Android security update on a total of 15 mobiles in its portfolio, which we will list below.
Of course, as we usually do every month, we will update this article with all the smartphones and tablets of the Korean firm that join this select club between now and the end of the month.
These are the 15 Samsung phones that have already been updated with the June 2024 security patch
As of today, Samsung has already updated a total of fifteen high-end smartphones with the latest Android security patch. Among the terminals that have received this new security update are devices from the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series, both the most recent ones and others that are 2 or 3 years old. As expected, the June Android update brings the June 2024 security patch to all these Samsung terminals, which fixes a total of 59 vulnerabilities related to security and privacy. Of these, a total of 40 are Google security fixes and of these 37 have been marked as of “high” importance.
In addition, this new security patch also fixes a few general bugs discovered in the user interface in previous versions of One UI and improves the performance and stability of all these terminals.
If you have one of these Samsung Galaxy and want to check if you have already received this security update, you just have to access the Settings panel of your smartphone and enter the Software Update section.
Once you have it available, all you have to do is tap on the Download and install button and let One UI take care of updating your Samsung phone with the most current Android security patch.
