At the end of last month we told you about the arrival of season 4 in Call of Duty, which means that the current games in the franchise, with the exception of Call of Duty: Mobile, were receiving very interesting news. Now, almost a month later, we’re back to this Season 4, as both Modern Warfare III and Warzone and, of course, Warzone Mobile are getting news again for the mid-season update, which is now live.
As far as Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is concerned, this season 4 reloaded, which is the name of this new update, brings a good dose of new features such as the arrival of the zombies. “The chemical catastrophe has caused an avalanche of zombies in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. Now players can fight enemies, both living and undead, in a new game mode that features updated maps, new weekly events, and much more,” they indicate in the game’s official blog post.
Zombies are coming to Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile along with other new features
As you can see, the arrival of zombies in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is one of the most outstanding new features of this mid-season update, although that is not the only thing to highlight, as we said. To begin with, we must talk about its new game mode, which arrives for a limited time on Rebirth Island and has been called Zombies Royale. In this mode, everything starts normally, but the players who are eliminated will return to the game as zombies to try to finish off the remaining humans. Of course, you will be able to be human again by consuming antivirals.
Warzone Mobile has also received another limited-time game mode on Rebirth Island, under the name of Chaotic Resurgence, with which players can enjoy the classic mode, but with a new version. In this game, players will receive special chaos perks, such as Super Speed and random killstreaks during the game, making each match crazier than usual. The longer you stay in the game, the more you can enjoy these bonuses.
As we said, there are more new features coming to Warzone Mobile, as new points of interest have been added in Verdansk. “The gates of hell have been thrown open. From a mystical portal in the sky, huge rocks fall, generating new points of interest throughout the map. Players who dare to walk through the broken stone gate that leads to the zombie graveyard will encounter dangers, but also high-value loot boxes,” they indicate on the official Call of Duty blog. In addition, as you can see, zombies will be present on both Rebirth Island and Verdansk, so shooting them will give us a good amount of additional event points.
Finally, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has synced with Modern Warfare III and Warzone with the arrival of Season 4 reloaded. Therefore, they will now share the same Battle Pass, BlackCell, weapon progression, and rewards, including certain bundles in all three games.
