China once again demonstrates its power when it comes to carrying out huge public works

China has created a bridge-tunnel that breaks all records. This is how it once again proves to be the world's leading power in infrastructure
Two bridges, a tunnel and two artificial islands are the result of this gigantic work

China is one of the countries that stand out the most, along with Japan, in the development of futuristic infrastructures. It is a large, wide country, with a very diverse and complicated orography that seeks to have a futuristic interconnection, so it generates an excellent breeding ground for really interesting works. In fact, they have the longest bridge in the world and a train network that is practically unbeatable and has plans to launch very powerful magnetic trains. In this framework, they have now created a bridge that is both a tunnel and has surprised everyone.

It is so powerful, rare and futuristic that it has broken a large number of records, as reported by CGTN the news network from China.

A bridge-tunnel to break all records

Known specifically as the Shenzhen-Zhongshan link, China has officially opened this gigantic infrastructure recently in Guangdong province. Thus, with 24 kilometers in length, it is able to link the Ma’anshan island of Zhongshan as well as Shenzhen airport, thus saving a good amount of travel hours.

Specifically, a trip that previously lasted two hours has been compressed into only half an hour and has done so in a truly surprising way since they have created a bridge that at the end of its journey becomes an underwater tunnel that connects different artificial islands. In the face of such a work, we can only say that it has been able to break ten world records for various aspects of its construction.

It becomes a key component of the highway network in eastern China, as it is a cyclopean work that defies multiple aspects of engineering and is surprising for having that peculiar style of being submerged and then connecting to different bridges that connect artificial islands. China has been striving for years to bring in high-level infrastructure. The longest bridge in the world is a Chinese work, but it is not the only thing that highlights the power of the Asian country’s civil works, but the construction of tunnels is also unbeatable.

So much so, that the underwater tunnel is 6.8 kilometers long, being the widest in the world. To monitor its status, it has up to 14 robots that are used to manage the operation and safety of the installation. Thus, robotics is also fundamental to the progress of the Asian giant. In fact, its fume extraction technology is quite interesting.

Thus, China is once again showing its chest and demonstrating that its infrastructures may hold the key to the country’s economic progress continuing to be such.
