With just 6 weeks to go until the second Galaxy Unpacked of 2024, an event that will take place in Paris on July 10, rumors continue to arrive about the brand’s new book-style foldable, a Galaxy Z Fold6 of which we already know that it will mount the most powerful processor on the market, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Well, after seeing a preview of the design of the Galaxy Z Fold6 a few months ago thanks to some renders shared by the leaker OnLeaks in the media SmartPrix, now a new leak brings us the first real images of the new foldable flagship of the firm, which confirm that it will finally have a wider outer screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will have a wider external display than its predecessor
This time it has been the reputed leaker Ice Universe who has shared a post on X in which he shows the first real image of the front of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and compares it with that of the current model, the Galaxy Z Fold5.
In the image that accompanies the aforementioned post, which we leave you on these lines, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 is located on the right side of it and shows us a renewed design in which a wider outer screen stands out, something that users have been asking for some time, and thinner bezels.
Thanks to this new aesthetic, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will make it easier for you to type messages using the device’s external screen and, in addition, it will also solve the aspect ratio problems that some apps and games have been suffering from.
As far as the performance of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 is concerned, it is expected that this new premium smartphone will have a less visible fold, with a camera system similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold5, with a larger battery capacity than that of its predecessor with the classic 25W “fast” charging, with IPX8 certification for water resistance and with Android 14 running under One UI 6.1.1 and 7 years of Android and security updates.
