With only three weeks left for Samsung to celebrate its second Galaxy Unpacked of the year in Paris, an event in which the Korean firm will launch its new generation of foldable phones to the market, we already know almost all the details of the future Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6.
So, if a few days ago we revealed the alleged prices of Samsung’s new foldables in the United States, now a new leak has just revealed the full features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6: these will be the specifications of the new clamshell foldable from the Korean firm
An exclusive report shared by Smartprix has confirmed the full features of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6, a foldable terminal that will have dimensions of 65.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 millimeters when open and 85.1 x 71.9 x 14.9 millimeters when folded and weighing 187 grams, which is the same as its predecessor. the Galaxy Z Flip5.
Also, as you can see in the screenshot below, the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 will be equipped with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X interior screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 hertz and a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED external screen with a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels, exactly the same panels as its predecessor.
In addition, according to this leak, under the hood of the Galaxy Z Flip6 we will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, an octa-core chipset with a maximum speed of 3.39 GHz that we already saw in the Galaxy S24 and that will be accompanied by two internal storage versions of 256 and 512 GB.
As far as the photographic section is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 will bet on a dual rear camera module composed of a new 50 MP main sensor with an f/1.8 focal aperture and a PDAF autofocus system and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 focal aperture and the same front camera of the previous model, which will mount a 10 MP sensor with an f/2.2 focal aperture and no autofocus.
Another section in which the Galaxy Z Flip6 will improve compared to its predecessor is in the autonomy, since the new clamshell foldable will mount a battery of greater capacity, 4,000 mAh compared to the 3,700 of the Galaxy Z Flip5, but with the same “fast” charge of 25W.
As for the rest of the features of the Galaxy Z Flip6, it should be noted that it will have 5G Dual, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, two stereo speakers and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, which however will not allow you to connect the smartphone to a screen to turn it into a PC, since it will not be compatible with Samsung’s DeX mode.
