Google’s Pixels, having the pure Android experience, will have new AI features before the rest of Android

Google continues to have Artificial Intelligence fully integrated into its future plans. Such is the progress in this area that, among other AI-based functions, a tool similar to the controversial Windows Recall, a system that is capable of monitoring everything that happens on the screen to offer support and service based on the user’s patterns, would reach Pixel smartphones. These functions would in fact be released by the Pixel 9 that will be presented on August 13.

AI feature similar to Recall

According to sources belonging to AndroidAuthority, the Google Pixel 9 line of phones will once again focus on providing AI services above the rest of the brands. Thus, a function called Pixel Screenshots, would allow monitoring similar to that of Windows Recall, but sticking to each time the user takes a screenshot, instead of remaining perpetually active.

This is a very striking feature, although Recall is not without controversy, far from it, since there are many users who consider that this type of service is too invasive with the user’s privacy and a potential security risk. In fact, although Microsoft proposed that this tool work mandatorily, whether it was used or not, they have now rethought the idea by making this function optionally activated, and will remain disabled by default in Windows 11.

High expectations on the Pixel 9

The Pixel 9, which will be Google’s new flagship for 12 months after its launch, has been generating comments and speculation around it for some time. In fact, there is talk of a more than possible XL version, as well as satellite functions such as those shown by the iPhone 15 last year, and it is also expected that, in terms of Artificial Intelligence, it will make an even greater leap than what could be seen in the Pixel 8.
