Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is now available on the App Store

Not long ago we told you about the announcement that both Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Resident Evil 2 Remake would arrive on Apple devices, thus joining games as big as Death Stranding, Assassin’s Creed Mirage or the RE Village themselves and the remake of the fourth installment of Capcom’s iconic saga. It is true that, apparently, none of those triple-A titles that have reached the Cupertino systems have been very successful among users, but that has not prevented Biohazard from being released on the App Store.

While the remake of the second installment of Capcom’s saga does not have an arrival date on Apple devices, we can indicate that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is already available for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and, in addition, on iPad and Mac with M1 chip or later through the App Store. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the game can be downloaded for free to test a small part of it and decide whether to buy its full version or not.

As you can see, they have taken the opportunity to release their launch trailer on Apple devices. While Resident Evil 7 is now available to download for free on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and on iPad and Mac with M1 chip or later, remember that this only gives you access to a trial of the game, so if you want it in full, you’ll have to pay for it. To be exact, if you want to purchase the title, you will have to pay $19.99 in-game and if you want to expand the experience with the Gold Edition, which includes all its DLC, you will have to pay an additional $20.

The price they mark in the App Store is in dollars, which indicates that its cost is the same when converted to euros. You can see for yourself by downloading the free trial of the title. Be that as it may, this Resident Evil 7: Biohazard arrives on iOS, iPadOS and macOS with improved and adapted controls, with an automatic shooting option, controller compatibility and, in addition, it has MetalFX Upscaling technology, which ensures that it will be a graphical powerhouse, as it happens on consoles and PC, of course. By the way, once you buy the game on one of Apple’s devices, you can enjoy it on the rest, thanks to its universal purchase.

For those of you who don’t know, as we told you in the announcement of its arrival on the App Store, this Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was a great change of tone for the franchise, since in its previous installments it had focused more on action, leaving aside its horror component, the one that its fans love so much. This Biohazard is a proposal that bets much more on survival horror and feels incredible.
