BTS gives way to TXT, the K-pop band that will collaborate with Samsung in the next Galaxy Unpacked
Surely BTS comes to mind, the South Korean band that became a global K-pop phenomenon a few years ago, and who also collaborated for several years with Samsung to promote their most premium smartphones. However, after taking a break over the past year for the members to perform military service in their home country of South Korea, it appears that Samsung has signed another K-pop band for this big event.
As you can see just above, this morning Samsung posted on its official X account (Twitter) that there was only one week left for Galaxy Unpacked, revealing that on that day attendees will also enjoy a surprise movie: Tomorrow X Together. That is the full name of the musical group that will be with them during the launch of the new Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 in Paris, also abbreviated and known as TXT.
In case you didn’t know about its existence, it is a K-pop boyband that was formed in 2019 by Big Hit Music, the South Korean entertainment company that also has a contract with BTS. The five-member group has tens of millions of streams on Spotify and was the first K-pop band to perform at Lollapalooza, one of the largest festivals in the United States. In addition, they are considered the leaders of the fourth generation of this musical genre, originally from South Korea.
