Everything seems to indicate that on July 10 Samsung will celebrate its second Galaxy Unpacked of the year in Paris, an event in which the new generation of foldable phones of the brand will be officially presented, which will be composed of two models, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6.

As in previous years, over the last few months we have been receiving rumors about the new book-type foldable of the Korean firm, a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 of which its design has already been leaked.

Well, now the Galaxy Z Fold6 has just gone through Geekbench to confirm something we all knew: that it will mount the most powerful processor on the market.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood and with 12GB of RAM as a base

As reported by SamMobile, the international variant of the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 has recently appeared in the Geekbench database with the model number SM-F956B, revealing some of its features such as its processor or RAM.

As you can see in the screenshot below, the processor of the Galaxy Z Fold6 has a motherboard whose code name is “pineapple” and a governor identified with the word “walt”, two pieces of information that confirm that this chipset is none other than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Likewise, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6’s visit to Geekbench has also revealed that the Korean giant’s new book-style foldable will have a base version of 12 GB RAM and that it will arrive with Android 14 as the operating system, running under One UI 6.1.

Be that as it may, we will only have to wait about five weeks to know all the details of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, a foldable smartphone that will have to compete head-to-head against great rivals such as the OnePlus Open or the vivo X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro.
