Having Gemini and GPT-4o integrated into glasses is possible: this is what the Solos AirGo Vision are like

The commitment to AI is reaching unimaginable quotas, its integration has become a recurring theme for companies. Until now, AI integration has focused on bringing this experience to devices such as smartphones or computers. Now, it has been learned that artificial intelligence will also be part of the glasses with the launch of the Solos AirGo Vision that have Gemini and GPT-4o integrated.

This is not the first time that Solos has launched glasses that have AI inside, the company has launched a series of glasses that integrate AI over the last few months. Of course, the most surprising thing is the price. The Solos AirGo Vision have a label of 249 dollars or 231 euros at the exchange rate, being a more than reasonable price for a product of these characteristics. With that being said, let’s look at all the ins and outs of these new AI glasses.

Aesthetically, the Solo AirGo Vision has an almost conventional design. In fact, they pass entirely for normal glasses and without anyone suspecting that AI models such as Google’s or OpenAI’s are inside.

By having a conventional format, the AirGo Vision by Solos seeks to dethrone the Meta Ray-Ban. In fact, they have cameras that are located in the front area of the temples of the glasses. These cameras can be used to collect information to ask the AI about.

In this regard, Solos has indicated that:

AirGo Vision with AI provides real-time information based on visual input, recognizing people and objects (“what am I looking at?”), or navigating and narrating directions or landmarks (“give me directions to the Eiffel Tower”). In addition, users can capture photos hands-free, which is especially handy for seeing progress and next steps in activities such as cooking, home improvement projects, education and studies, and even shopping (“What am I looking at and how much does it cost? AI can also summarize those activities to improve organization and attendance.

Of course, the glasses have an interchangeable design so users can do without the frame that integrates the cameras for situations in which they do not want there to be the possibility of any type of image being recorded.

In addition, the glasses have a speaker, microphone and LED lights. The latter is designed to provide visual warnings instead of the user receiving audible alerts. The base model of the AirGo Vision will not have the camera, it only integrates the LED lights and speakers. The frames will start at $89 and depending on their functionalities, it will increase.
