emojis that will be part of iOS 18
The next emoticons that we will see in iOS 18, a future version of Android and other platforms, are confirmed.

The last time we saw new emoticons on iOS was with the release of iOS 17.4. Not that long ago and we already know some of the ones coming in the future, presumably in iOS 18 and future versions of Android. Recently, the Unicode Consortium has taken the next step for the introduction of new emojis that will be released soon.

We already know some of the new emoticons that we will see and that will be added to the face saying yes, the face saying no or the phoenix. As we anticipated, we will see them in one of the next versions of iOS 18 at the end of the year or early 2025, as well as on Android and other operating systems.

Here are the new emojis that iOS 18 and Android will have

The Unicode Consortium has announced the introduction of seven new emoticons that we will see in the future. These are as follows: a little face with dark circles under the eyes, a fingerprint, a tree without leaves, a radish, a harp, a shovel, and a blob.

Although this list is already confirmed, the implementation of the new emoticons by Apple, Google, Microsoft and other companies needs time, so we will see them in future versions of operating systems such as iOS 18, perhaps more in the spring, as happened with iOS 17.4.

Emoticons are already part of our daily lives and have become a great way to express our emotions and feelings. In fact, iOS 17 has given them more prominence than ever by allowing you to drag them into Messages conversations or use them to react to them.

Thanks to the emoticon drag function in the Messages app, you can make curious creations such as a person snowboarding down a mountain and running away from a big snowball. Let’s hope that these new emoticons arrive soon, because the one with the face with dark circles under the eyes will surely be used a lot.

In short:

  1. We already know some of the emojis that will arrive in a future version of iOS 18, Android, and other operating systems.
  2. These new emojis are: a face with dark circles under its eyes, a fingerprint, a leafless tree, a radish, a harp, a shovel, and a blob.
