Forget all the junk food snacks. Eat something healthy, chop up some fruit, and eat it slowly. It will give you energy that you can easily eliminate from your body without any problem that later turns into obesity, another reason to feel depressed and with low self-esteem.

#5 Take a walk
Think of different things. Give your body permission to clear its head and feel the air on your skin, stretch your legs and meditate while walking, if you prefer you can stop thinking for a couple of minutes while you walk. The walk must be a minimum of 5 minutes.

#6 Change your clothes
Even if you're not leaving the house, get ready. It's important to feel good about yourself. If you bring very uncomfortable clothes and you are already at home, don't waste your time and change, wear something comfortable, your pajamas and slippers will be perfect.

#7 Modify your environment
Always being in the same 4 walls can become enslaving and make you feel exhausted, even when you're not. Does your job allow you to do it from a library, a café, or anywhere other than just your office? Well, do it! When you add one more place to visit today to the list, it will make you feel better. If you can't do it, don't hesitate to use alternative methods of distraction such as 5-minute rest intervals. Your brain will receive enough oxygen to continue with its daily tasks.

It doesn't matter if it's small, do it. Do you have to go to school, have an appointment with your friend, or do you have to make house payments? Focus on something, no matter how small. When you're done, give yourself a big hug and congratulate yourself on what you've done this day.

Just don't lose hope that things are going to change and that it's you, only you who can change it.
