NameDrop is the best way to easily share your contact and receive someone else’s. Just bring the two iPhones closer together. This feature arrived with iOS 17 and is like AirDrop, but to share our contact cards. In addition, it could not be simpler to use.

Offline maps

Another of the star features that arrived in iOS 17 were offline maps. The possibility of saving and downloading maps in case we run out of coverage is tremendously useful, especially in places we don’t know. To use this feature, the following steps must be followed:

1. We open the Maps app on our iPhone.
2. At the bottom, we tap on our profile picture.

The Search app is also essential when we go on vacation because with it we can keep all our devices located. In addition, thanks to Apple’s AirTag, we can keep our belongings safe.

Apple’s small locator can be easily attached to suitcases, backpacks or bags, in case they are lost or stolen. From the Find My app we will know at all times where they are and we will be able to trace a route to them.

Another essential application is Wallet. With the Wallet app you can have all your cards, not just credit or debit cards, in one place. With the Wallet app you can easily make payments thanks to Apple Pay, but you can also have your train or plane tickets.
